In our office, we offer internships for geoscientists in such a way that students work regularly for at least one semester, depending on requirements. Depending on their timetable, this can be on an hourly or daily basis.
An internship certificate can be issued for this work.
The internship is unpaid for four weeks. After that, an employment relationship can be registered as a mini-job and continued with payment for insurance purposes.
The advantage for you as a student is that you can get to know the field, laboratory, and office procedures more intensively and comprehensively than if you were to work for a fixed period of four weeks. The advantage for us is that the students can be deployed in a targeted and, in some cases, independent manner.
